Each session, our
Li’l Place campers enjoy a different on-campus field trip. Whether it’s
going to Auerbach Theater for the final performance of the Summer Place
Dr. Seuss on the Loose class, watching the
Rocketry class launch their rockets to heights of
1,000 feet, or
being introduced to Niko the Amazing Animal Adventure
German Shepherd, each session
will be filled with lots of camp fun!
In addition to the trips on campus, Li’l Place campers participate in a different outreach
program each session. Last summer campers explored with “Bubbling Over: Water Play” from
The Children’s Museum, made homemade ice cream with the 4-H Farm, and helped feed the
Chinchilla from the New Britain Youth Museum. These presentations are scheduled to
enhance the related activities that are being introduced in the classroom. |
