Computers and photography go hand in hand as you learn the principles of digital photography in this exciting course. Have you ever wanted to create your own computer game? Build and design your own 2-dimensional arcade-style video game with animated graphics, background, and sounds. Start out with simple games built from a template, and advance to creating your own game to bring home and share with your friends. Let the games begin!


 
Game Show Marathon     Grades 5–9
Whether your favorite game show is Jeopardy, Deal or No Deal, or Who Wants to be a Millionaire, you’ll not only play old favorites online, but you’ll also create game shows to challenge your friends. You’ll use advanced features of PowerPoint to produce impressive game boards with all the bells and whistles of real game shows. Use game-show buzzers to earn points for your team while playing your self-created game shows projected on a big screen, before taking home your projects on a memory stick. Deal or No Deal?

Podcast Pizzazz     New!     Grades 1-2
Move over iCarly, it’s your turn to podcast! Learn to create your own slide show full of your favorite things and have it posted on the Internet! You will use computer art tools to draw, design, and stamp your way into creating a slide show about yourself. The slide show will become a podcast when posted to an Internet website. Get creative, get confident, get podcasting today and see what the buzz is all about! Note: Parents will be provided with instructions on how to view the podcasts from home. Only graphic images are used in the podcasts; NO pictures or videos of the campers are used.
