Adventures in Web Design      Grades 5–9
Imagine a website created by you, for you, showcasing all of the things that you love. Using professional web design programs and your artistic skills, you will design colorful, informative, and interesting web pages with pictures, music, and animation. The possibilities are endless!

Amusement Park Robotics      Grades 5–9
Using LEGO bricks, a computer, and a programmable RCX brick, you’ll learn principles of computer control, programming, and robotics while you build an amusement park complete with fairground rides. Try your hand at a haunted house ride, a bumper car, a merry-go-round, or a tour bus!

Computer Animation     Grades 3–9

Learn how to produce simple (and not-so-simple) computer animations, ranging from two-dimensional cartoon sequences to more exotic three-dimensional masterpieces. Unleash your creative energies as you sample some of the hottest computer applications around!

Computer Crafts     Grades 5–9
From designing an architectural dream house to personal greeting cards, calendars, and iron-on t-shirts we’ll use computers to create dynamic projects. Using Paint and Google Sketchup, we’ll perfect our graphic design skills and turn the computer into an incredible art tool.

Digital Photography     Grades 3–9
Computers and photography go hand in hand as you learn the principles of digital photography in this exciting course. Discover how to use a digital camera (provided by Summer Place), download your pictures, manipulate your photos, and print out finished copies that will impress even the best photographer.

Digital Scrapbooking      Grades 5–9
Put all of your precious photos of friends and family to good use by creating a scrapbook on the computer. Insert backgrounds, frames, and images from the internet to create a perfectly personalized scrapbook. What a fantastic way to display, share and save your favorite photographs!

Engineering Challenge      Grades 3–9
Explore, investigate, and solve problems while learning about the building blocks of engineering. Combining LEGO Education and LEGO materials, you will explore motorized simple machines by building realistic models. Are you ready for the challenge?

Game Show Marathon     Grades 5–9
Whether your favorite game show is Jeopardy, Deal or No Deal, or Who Wants to be a Millionaire, you’ll not only play old 
favorites online but you’ll also create game shows to challenge your friends. You’ll learn advanced features of PowerPoint to produce impressive game boards with all the bells and whistles of real game shows. Use game show buzzers to earn points for your team while playing your self-created game shows projected on a big screen. Deal or No Deal?

Junior Engineering      Grades 1–2
Explore, investigate, and solve problems while learning about the building blocks of engineering. Enjoy hands-on activities with levers, gears, wheels, axles, and pulleys that incorporate math, science, and creativity.

Lights, Camera, Action     Grades 3–4
You will gain hands-on experience with basic video-camera handling, simple shooting techniques, and easy computer editing as you learn how to alter your video digitally to produce an impressive, final recorded piece. Your home and school video projects will never be the same!

Mind Twisters      Grades 3–9
Do you want to challenge your brain and have a great time? Using the computer, Nintendo DS, and plain old paper and pencil you’ll test your skills and challenge your mind with teasers, puzzles, problems, mazes, and more. Try this mental workout if you think you’re so smart!

Roamer Robotics     Grades 1–2
Our robot, Roamer, can turn, draw, measure, do math, and even make music. Learn how robotics and programming go hand in hand as you write programs and give commands for Roamer to follow.
