Joe Dutsar will return to direct the SPLIT program for the  second year. He is a high school teacher and coach with 19  years of Summer Place experience. Joe will be assisted by  both a full-time staff member and by Joe Groves, on a part-time basis. During the school year Joe works as an instructor and  guide for the Mountain Workshops and at Central Connecticut  State University teaching ropes courses to college-age students.  Rounding out the staff is an on-site registered nurse and  physician-on-call.
